Confusticate and bebother those dwarves!
"Confusticate and bebother those dwarves!" he said aloud. "Why don't they come and assist?" Lo and behold! There stood Balin and Dwalin on the door of the kitchen, and Fili and Kili behind them, and earlier than he should say knife they'd whisked the trays and more than one small tables into the parlour and set out everything afresh.

Gandalf sat at the pinnacle of the birthday celebration with the 13, dwarves all round: and Bilbo sat on a stool at the hearth, nibbling at a biscuit (his urge for food turned into quite taken away), and seeking to look as though this was all perfectly regular and. Now not in the least an journey. The dwarves ate and ate, and talked and talked, and time got on. At remaining they pushed their chairs again, and Bilbo made a flow to accumulate the plates and glasses.

"I think you'll all live to supper?" he said in his politest unpressing tones. "Of direction!" said Thorin. "And after. We shan't get thru the enterprise until overdue, and we must have some music first. Now to resolve!"

Thereupon the twelve dwarves-not Thorin, he became too critical, and stayed talking to Gandalf-jumped to their feet and made tall piles of all the matters. Off they went, now not expecting trays, balancing columns of plates, every with a bottle on the top, with one hand, at the same time as the hobbit ran after them almost squeaking with fright: "please be cautious!" and "please, don't problem! I can control." however the dwarves only commenced to sing:

Chip the glasses and crack the plates!
Blunt the knives and bend the forks!
That is what Bilbo Baggins hates-
Smash the bottles and burn the corks!

Reduce the cloth and tread on the fats!
Pour the milk on the pantry ground!
Go away the bones on the bedroom mat!
Splash the wine tera gold on every door!

Unload the crocks in a boiling bawl;
Pound them up with a thumping pole;
And while you've completed, if any are whole,
Send them down tera gold the corridor to roll !

That is what Bilbo Baggins hates!
So, carefully! Carefully with the plates!
