I was talking about how they declared monopoly on all the diamonds of the world and multiplied its pricing by 500 times! Diamonds aren't rare or have any special quality other than being very tough to break, it shouldn't be as costly as it is, though the De Beers guys bought up all the diamonds mines in the 1800's and would only sell them at an outrageous rate, thereby increasing the overall rate of the product!

I was saying that no other industry should be manipulated like that, it ruins economies! Tongue

Yeah, the monopolisation of any industry is going to be harmful. Not a very high chance of that happening in the present scenario, though, so we're safe. Biggrin Actually, if Apple goes down then Intel will pretty much rule the roost, I think, but that's a discussion for another thread. Smile
