Chicago broadcaster tweets awful Freddie
Last April, the Orioles and White Sox played an afternoon game at an empty Oriole Park at Camden Yards Blake Snell Jersey due to safety concerns stemming from riots in Baltimore over the death of Freddie Gray.Friday, exactly ayear after that game, Chicago sportscasting "legend" Bruce Wolf tweeted one of the worst "jokes" ever by calling the White Sox's gray road uniforms their Freddie Grays.MORE: Tragedy in the sports world| Baltimore riots, protests highlight Tampa Bay Rays Team Columbia Jersey need for rec centersSox in their Freddie Gray road uniforms in Baltimore tonight. Bruce Wolf (@BruceWolfChi) April 30, 2016Gray died from spinal cord injuries in April of 2015 after Baltimore police put him in handcuffs and threw him into the back of a transport van. There's speculation the cops gave him a "rough ride" handcuffing someone and not putting a seatbelt on them before driving reckle sly. Since he couldn't brace himself when sliding around the van, he suffered life-threateninginjuries.Wolf has been a broadcaster in Chicago on both TV and radio for more than 20 years. He was fired from WLS 890last year and once got into a heated on-airdebate about race(shocker, he was wrong and insensitive there, too)with a fellow WLS employee who cited racial tension for her dismi sal Rays Flex Base Team Gray Jersey two months later.Maybe we shouldn't be that surprised he said this.
